Not sure if you are aware of our new products updated, i.e: Polymer Clay Doll Head

Don’t you think they are so adorable? :)

Our initial plan is to package it into a DIY Kit. However, there are many possibilities of colors combination. Therefore we leave it to you and provide you the tutorial here.

Take note that there are many ways to bead the doll body. Tutorial below is suitable for matching with most of the doll heads.

Beading Supplies:
A – 3mm Swarovski Bicone #5301 Light Rose x 6 pcs
B – 5mm Swarovski Bicone #5301 Crystal AB x 2 pcs
C – 6mm Swarovski Rivoli #6200 Siam x 6 pcs
D – 8mm Swarovski Rivoli #6200 Rose x 6 pcs

Other Supplies:
E – 40mm Eyepin (will be given for FREE if you purchase our polymer clay doll head)
F – 0.3mm Non-elastic Thread
G – Polymer Clay Doll Head

Note: For tutorial illustration purpose, we use thicker 0.4mm Thread.

Step 1a FIRST LAYER: From START point, thread the beads as shown on your left and right hand thread.

Step 1b FIRST LAYER: Tie a simple knot twice and cut the excess thread.

Step 2a SECOND LAYER: String 6 C as shown in the picture above.

Step 2b SECOND LAYER: Tie a simple knot twice and cut the excess thread

Step 3 THIRD LAYER: Repeat step 2a – 2b with 6 D.

Step 4a: Slide in Third Layer onto a 40mm eyepin. Since many beaders do not have a 40mm eyepin, we will supply it for Free if you purchase our polymer clay doll head.

Step 4b: Slide in Second and First Layer respectively.

Step 4c: Finally, insert the doll head on top of the 3 layers.

Step 5: Make a simple loop using a pair of round nose pliers. In this case you just need to grasp the end of the pin and roll towards the doll head until you feel the resistance.

Tadah!! You are done! You may like to add in a handphone hanger or a necklace chain (treat it as a pendant).
