Let’s see what we have for part II Mat Salleh’s Favorite Products.

Nymo Thread in small bobbin – A parallel multifilament thread was one of the earliest and is still one of the most popular beadweaving threads in US & Europe. In Asia, we normally use the monofilament thread, a.k.a fishing thread (or tali tangsi in malay). Nymo thread is much stronger and lasting than the thread that we normally use. However, Nymo tends to fray, therefore it is advisible to wax it before using or use it together with beading needle.
Nymo comes in sizes ranging from 000 (the thinnest) to 0 and A to FF (the largest). The most popular sizes are size B (~0.25mm) & D (~0.3mm). It also comes in 18 colors in sizes B & D. The best part of it is, they are inexpensive!

Thing-A-Ma Jig – If you don’t know how to pronounce it, just call it “Think-Ur-Mum” Jig… LOL!!!! Basically, it is an inexpensive version of Wig Jig Olympus Lite (~ 1/3 price) . It is also cheaper than our previous version of Wire Writer and Jewelry Jig System because it doesn’t include a Wire Writer. Anyway, I don’t think you will need a Wire Writer. I still don’t know how to use it up to date.

Round Your Wire Tool, a.k.a Cup Bur – I bought this after reading WireBlissMei’s post at HERE & HERE. Both Mei & JennyPong gave positive feedback about this tool. However, Wendy Sue gave a negative comment (read HERE).
You judge it.

Wire Whacker – This is another interesting tool! Basically, it serves 2 function:
1) whack your wire to harden it, or
2) whack your husband/boyfriend if he disturb you while beading!!! XD

DELUXE Diamond Coated Bead Reamer Set – A professional quality bead reamer set, comes with 3 tips.

Replacement Tip for DELUXE Bead Remer – This is the best part of DELUXE Bead Reamer. You only need to purchase the replacement tip after the tip is being wear off.

Crimp Tube (Thick), a.k.a Tubular Crimp Beads – Good quality crimp tube, size 2x2mm. The crimp tube (not round crimp bead) that we normally get in the market is too thin. Hence it cannot crimp securely and also cannot use with Magical Crimping Tool (to create a round ball shape crimp).

BeJeweler Pro Hotfix Applicator – A professional tool to apply hotfix rhinestones instantly to nearly any surface! It comes with 8 sizes of tips. For more info on how to use the tool, please visit the manufacturer’s website @ Creative Crystal.

Awl with Wooden Handle – Use a awl to punch holes in leather along the stitching line. This tool resembles a small ice pick and comes in two parts: the awl (needle) and the haft (handle).
Oh my god, I have accidentally put this products in the shopping cart! It doesn’t seem to be useful in beading. Perhaps the only fuction I can think of is to open knot.
Any idea?

BeadSmith Miniature Set 8 pcs Tools + Zipped Wallet – Includes Five 3″ color-coded mini pliers (chain nose, round nose, cutter, flat nose & nylon jaw), plus knotting tweezer, ScoopEEZ® and thread cutter. They are placed securely inside a zipped wallet.

Might be too small for daily use, but extremely convenient for travel or quick repairs at shows.
Really Adorable right?!!!

Needle File Set, mini and normal size- Set includes a wonderful variety of shapes – curved, straight, round, knife edge…etc. This set of files comes in a plastic pouch.

Needle Threaders with Cutter – Click to view the intruction How To Use A Needle Threader.
The following products are for my own use. May consider to bring in in future.

WigJigs & Pegs – Professional wire beading jig. Picture shown WigJig Centaur, WigJig Cyclops, WigJig Olympus Lite, Metal Pegs & Super Pegs.

Handi-Bender – The Most Original Wire Beading Jig.

Magical Crimping Tools – This unique tool was created exclusively for use with 2x2mm tubular crimp beads and 0.38mm nylon coated flexible beading wire. Just a few steps will transform a 2mm crimp into a round bead. Stunning !!!
Alright, that’s all for the new products updated. Meanwhile, we have also restocked Artistic Wire (take note of new loose spool wire), Reamer with Wooden Handle, Artistic Wire Worker & Twisted Wire Needles.

Stay Tuned for next products update: 925 Sterling Silver Findings and Miniatures ~!!!!!
