By effects we mean the finishing of the stone by means of a vacuum coating process. The various coating processes are illustrated in the Collection.
(1) Surface effects
Normal vacuum coating process applied to the top of the stone. The hematite coating is only possible on Jet.

(2) Translucent effects
Special vacuum coating process applied to the back of the stone and visible through the crystal.

(3) Matt finish
A chemical process is applied to the surface of the stone to achieve a matt finish. Matt finishing can only be achieved on SS stones for article 1028. The dimensions of all other articles may vary if a matt finish effect is used.
(4) Cosmojet
This is a special coating, which makes it possible to blacken certain parts of the stone's surface. This effect is only available on selected articles.
(5) Frosted
This describes a matt finish on a jewellery stone, which is achieved by a mechanical process and is only possible on Flat backs.
